Hey, America! Who’s Militia is this?

Are  our guns warm enough? And are we happy?

Rest in peace dear victims of  the Second Amendment.

As passed by the Congress:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.[8]

The original hand-written copy of the Bill of Rights, approved by the House and Senate, was prepared by scribe William Lambert and resides in the National Archives.

  1. Annie, so brilliant. But as our leaders say, it’s not the right time to have a discussion about gun control so soon after such a violent act. I guess what they mean is, when the senseless violence and killings stops, then we can have a talk about gun control. God, how can you not support that logic? You should change your snow flake effect to tears. Love ya,

  2. I have to add that hand guns alone are not the only problems America is beset with. Foremost, we as a nation, have long ago lost our moral compass. Religious values are way too low in this country’s priorities. Secondly, the pill pushing Big Pharmacies, along with pill pushing MDs and so called psychiatrists , are too quick to prescribe another pill to modify troubled behavior. We really are not treating people holistically. Many common people end up going ballistic because they have been mis-diagnosed, mistreated, neglected, and likely, unloved. I pray for the survivors and loved ones who lost precious relatives yesterday. If we believe, and I do, that there are 20 new saints in heaven- perhaps 25, then by God, there has to be one more wretch burning in hell.
