Sharing book recommendations with friends is a lot like sharing a good joke or a special secret. The problem can be finding a way to remember them. The same holds true for great recipes, restaurant recommendations, spiritual and emotional guidance and well, all good gifts in life!

Good morning to all. Anyone into Maps and Sex? If the answer is yes, here are some books I’ve recently read.
1421: The Year China Discovered America by Gavin Menzies. So if you’re that geeky type of retired librarian who loves maps, this is the book for you. The history is great and there’s a similarity to modern America and ancient China. The mariners leave China with a Flotilla of a 1000 ships, and while their gone, their country descends into a dark period which lasts for centuries.
Sex? Penis’s? Fun Stuff? Read A Mind of it’s Own: A Cultural History of the Penis by David Friedman. A book for anyone whether you holster a penis or not, a fun read about how the penis has shaped the world. You’ll love it; maybe not the penis, but the book. Follow up with Why Women have Sex: Understanding Sexual Motivation by Cindy Meston. Another great read. You may think you know the answer, then again you may learn something. I did.
